Why don’t you provide to village halls or fixed time venues between April-October?
The reason we are unable to provide to village halls/fixed time venues between April-October is due to the fixed times just being too difficult to fit into the schedule. If a bouncy castle is delivered to a home address we can drop it off earlier and collect later where as a village hall/fixed time venue does not have this flexibility and as such determines what other jobs we can fit in before, in-between, and after.
Do you set the bouncy castle up?
Yes, we take it to your preferred location of the garden (providing where it will be set up is a safe area to do so). Standard castles take approximately 20-30 minutes to set up although this does depend on how far the location is from where we have to park and how good the access is etc. Larger items such as our Inflatable Obstacle Courses, Inflatable Slides and Disco Domes take a little longer, usually 30-45 minutes.
Is there anything I
need to do before booking?
Please measure the garden or find out details regarding your venue, to ensure that the castle will
fit. Please bear in mind that castles require a couple of feet extra either
way to ensure they fit correctly and do not knock into fences/walls etc. All the sizes of the inflatables, and the required space are listed on the individual item pages, but please contact us if you have any questions or need any clarity on sizes.
Can the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable go on concrete?
Unfortunately not no, we can put inflatables and bouncy castles indoors subject to sizing requirements but we are unable to put them outdoors on hard surfaces as we are unable to peg the castle down. We are also unable to place bouncy castles and inflatables on woodchip, sand, gravel and the like.
What areas do you
deliver to?
We deliver inflatables all over Norfolk and Suffolk,
however, depending on how far you are from our location in Thorpe, St Andrew,
Norwich there may be a delivery charge. To check what your delivery charge is please select the item you would like to hire, check it is available on the date you require it, and then select your postcode. After selecting your postcode the delivery charge will clearly be displayed. Alternatively please contact us to find out your delivery charge. Please be aware that to areas that are further away, minimum order charges do apply. This is due to the drive time of getting to your location and the local hires it prevents us from doing. Please note for larger events we can go out of our standard postcode range.
Do you need us to do
anything before you deliver the castle?
- Please check ACCESS to the garden is clear to ensure a swift
set up and that the area the bouncy castle or inflatable will be in is clear of structures
such as swings and any other items.
- Please also ensure there is no animal foul
in the area.
- Please check the access - Most of our castles require a minimum of 3 feet access width , however some of our larger and heavier items such as Helter Skelter Inflatable Slide require a minimum of 5 feet width access. Please check the product page to check the access required for the item you have hired. If you are unsure please contact us. If you have less than 3ft please do not just order and expect us to do it as we will not be able to get the ordered item to its destination. The access information is given to prevent issues on the day.
- Please ensure we have access the morning of the hire, if we get ahead of schedule we drop off earlier, the only way we can get to people by the required times is if we can drop off earlier too, we cannot and do not take fixed time bookings were we are unable to drop off earlier and/or collect later if required.
How many people can
go on a castle at one time?
The amount of people that can go on at once depends on the specific space on each inflatable, and the design. The user heights and numbers are all written on our bouncy castles.
Do I need power?
Yes! Unless you have asked us to provide a generator for which there is an additional fee. We provide all items and accessories needed for the bouncing to begin apart from the power. Please be aware the power lead is not able to be placed over any road/path or land not owned by yourself without the explicit permission of the landowner, this is due to the Health and Safety rules as well as Insurance terms and conditions we have to adhere to. We provide 25m extension leads that need to be plugged into mains sockets, we cannot plug them into other extension leads as there is a risk they will cut out.
You have to come through my house to access my garden, can I still order from Bounce Back?
Unfortunately not, as we need to be able to access the garden without going through garages/houses. This is due access requirements and houses often having too many tight spots that are not wide enough to get through, as well as the castle wrapping up bigger if it gets wet. As we sometimes deliver early and collect later, it can also be difficult to arrange access to the actual garden.
What happens if it rains?
The vast majority of our bouncy castles have shower covers although several don't - please check on the individual item page which specifies if the item has a rain cover. We also offer free cancellation due to weather, providing we haven't dropped it off and you let us know at least 24 hours before hand. Generally speaking, if rain is forecast then we leave it up to customer's to decide whether they wish to go ahead, however in cases of torrential rain/ground saturation we may have to cancel as some of the items just become too heavy to move when they are saturated.
If it is forecast to rain, or too windy can I re-book for a village hall?
We are unable to provide to village halls between March 1st and October 31st due to the fixed times of halls and the difficulty of fitting those in. Our schedule is based on geographic proximity, which is why we sometimes drop off earlier and collect later, making halls impossible to fit in during the busy months. Some other companies do provide to village halls during the Summer so if this is an option you are looking to do we advise you to choose a company that can cater to fixed time venues.
What times do you
drop off the castles?
We drop off at 11am or before, however we aim to meet your requirements, so please give us a call
to discuss your individual needs. The scheduling is done several days before and we often drop off earlier and/or collect later to ensure that we get to everyone on time. Deliveries begin from 7am. We sometimes drop off the day before and collect the day after depending on scheduling.
Do you provide to village halls?
We welcome bookings that need specific drop off and pick up times such as village halls however these are done on a first come first served basis as we can't be in too many places at the same time and please be aware we are unable to accommodate fixed time/village hall bookings from April-October. Standard hires last a maximum of 6 hours although if you need it longer than this it can be arranged at an additional cost. Please be aware we are no longer in a position to provide fixed time slots during April-October, which unfortunately means we are unable to do hires at village halls during those months.
What is the latest time you pick up?
All standard hires have a latest pick up time of 18:00 in May-August, 17:00 March, April & September, & 4pm in October and 17:00 November-February. If you need your castle picked up later than this we charge £20.00 per hour until 22:00 or you can select overnight hire which is £20.00 If you choose this option you are guaranteed to get the castle until 07:00 the following morning, although we only pick up at this time if the castle is out again.
How long can the hires last?
The hires can last up to 6 hours with a latest collection time of 6pm. Depending on scheduling we sometimes drop off earlier and collect later. This can include dropping off the day before and collecting the day after but will be dependant upon scheduling which is done a couple of days before the hire once all the bookings are in.
Do you offer
overnight hire?
Yes we do, overnight hire is an additional £20.00 and the
castle will be picked up the following morning. When paying the overnight fee you will have the castle until at least 07:00 the following morning and the only reason we would pickup that early is if the castle is out again that day. We cannot provide to venues were the item NEEDS to be collected by a certain time.
Can we book last
minute?
Yes, we welcome last minute bookings, however please be aware
that many of our castles are booked 4-6 weeks in advance, so to ensure you get

Do you require a
deposit?
We do not require a deposit for most items, however, if there are several items ordered, or larger singular items then we reserve the right to ask for a deposit. If you wish to pay in advance you can pay by BACS/Transfer or send a Cheque. Payment can be made via BACS up to 48 hours before hand which is the preferable method of payment.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
Cancellations due to bad weather are free, just please let us know before 24 hours before drop off. Cancellations within two weeks but at least 24 hours before drop off of booking for all other reasons are subject to a 25% cancellation charge due to the fact that item(s) have been held for you preventing others from booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours for ANY REASON are charged at 100% of the booking value.
Can I use my inflatable inside or outside?
All of our bouncy castles are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, however, if your party is taking place between 1st April and 31st October, then we only offer outdoor hire services. We can do outdoor hires throughout the year, dependant upon weather. Please take a look at our venues section for indoor hire ideas. We only provide indoor hires between November 1st - March 31st.
Do you have any special offers or discounts on?
We do sometimes, to see if we have any on now please visit our Special Offers page. Please be aware that special offers or discounts cannot be combined and special offers or discounts cannot be used on package deals.
We are a charity, can you provide us with a free bouncy castle?
We are only a small business so have limited resources, however we do aim to be as much of a help as we can be, please check out our Charities & Fundraising page for further information.
Can the bouncy castle go outdoors on artificial grass or astro turf?
Unfortunately we are unable to set bouncy castles up on artificial grass or astro turf if it is outdoors. We are able to set up on artificial grass if it is in an indoor area. For further information please see bouncy castles on artificial grass.
Is there a minimum order value?
Yes, the minimum order value is £80.00 to local postcodes around Norwich, not including any delivery charges. We have higher minimum delivery charges to other postcodes due to the drive time.
