Bounce Back Castles is based in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, and we regularly work with schools, charities, PTAs, community groups and other organisations running fundraising events. Village fetes, school fairs and charity fun days take a considerable amount of work from volunteers, so where we're able to help a local cause, we're happy to consider it.

That support doesn't always have to mean supplying an inflatable free of charge. Depending on the event, date and what you're trying to achieve, we may be able to offer reduced hire rates, a raffle prize or another form of support. Our equipment can also be hired specifically as a fundraising activity, allowing your organisation to generate money from it during the event.

Can Bounce Back Castles Support Our Charity Event?

You're welcome to Contact Us and tell us about your fundraiser. We receive a large number of requests every year, however, and we're a small family business rather than a large organisation with a dedicated charity budget.

For that reason, unfortunately we cannot provide free equipment for every school, charity or community event that approaches us.

We normally select two charities each year for free hires from the requests we receive. We're generally more likely to have the capacity to accommodate this during winter and early spring. Spring and summer weekends are our busiest periods, when both equipment availability and staffing are considerably tighter.

Even where a free hire isn't possible, it's still worth asking. There may be another practical way we can support what you're doing.

Previous Fundraising Support in Norwich

We've previously helped local organisations in several different ways. When Friends of Hillside School contacted us while raising money for new school equipment, the inflatable they originally enquired about wasn't compatible with their event. Rather than simply turning down the request, we provided a 50% off hire voucher for their fundraising raffle.

We've also supported the Thorpe St Andrew Town Council summer fete by donating an Argos gift card for its raffle.

These are good examples of why we'd rather hear about the fundraiser itself than receive a request solely for a free bouncy castle. Sometimes a raffle prize, discounted booking or another contribution is more practical and can still help the organisation raise additional funds.

Using Bouncy Castles to Raise Money at School Fetes

A bouncy castle can be more than entertainment at a school fete. With the right event setup, it can become one of the activities generating income for the fundraiser.

Dunk Tank Hire for Charity Fundraising

The Dunk Tank has particularly obvious fundraising potential. Give people the opportunity to dunk a willing teacher, colleague or familiar member of the community and you have an activity that can attract both participants and spectators.

Schools might charge for a set number of attempts at the target, while companies can incorporate the dunk tank into a staff charity day. It is simple for visitors to understand and provides a very different activity from an inflatable.

Traditional Games for Fetes and Fundraisers

Sometimes the smaller activities are just as useful as the headline attraction. Traditional games can be operated individually or grouped together to create a side-stall section at a school or community fete.

Our options include Tin Can Alley, Feed the clown, Ring the bull, Splat the rat and Lucky spin. We also have larger games such as Giant Connect Four and Giant Snakes & Ladders.

A mixture of attractions can give visitors several opportunities to participate during the day rather than relying on a single fundraising activity.

Mini Golf for School and Charity Events

Mini Golf Hire provides another format for fundraising events. A course can be operated as a paid activity, incorporated into an event ticket or simply provided as part of the entertainment that encourages families to stay at the event for longer.

We have different course sizes available, including the 5 Hole Mini Golf Course and 9 Hole Mini Golf Course. This gives organisers some flexibility depending on the available space and scale of the event.

Equipment for Larger Charity Fun Days

For larger events, we can provide several activities within the same booking. A substantial inflatable can act as one of the main attractions while smaller games, mini golf and other activities operate elsewhere on the site.

Being based in Thorpe St Andrew puts us in a good position to support events in Norwich and throughout much of Norfolk. Our regular service area includes Dereham, Wymondham, Attleborough, Watton, North Walsham, Cromer, Holt and Great Yarmouth.
